Playfool, our app, distracts people from drinking and smoking cravings whenever and wherever they may hit. By using positive reinforcement and science-backed activities to serve as distractions, the cravings are offset. This offers users a chance to reflect mindfully on their consumption habits and think twice about healthy choices as opposed to defaulting to their usual behaviors. Our app does this through gamification & engagement, with community milestones and personal goals to further encourage mindfulness.

Our proposed solution is to create a textbook rental system based on a monthly subscription model that allows students to access the textbooks they need without having to purchase them outright. When the course is completed, students can return the textbooks for reuse by future students, reducing waste. With this, we aim to make education more affordable and accessible to all.
