MoniTrd

MoniTrd is an IOT service, that enables the tracking of all septic tanks to ensure that they are functioning in a safe, efficient, and sustainable way. They create value for building owners, sanitation service providers, and local/regional governments and their agencies. It supports important public health and environmental outcomes, while also reducing risks and costs for all the involved stakeholders. It consists of an IoT device to be installed inside the septic tank to monitor parameters of the tank’s health, use, and remaining capacity. This information is relayed though a mesh network, and used to alert service providers to full tanks, potentially malfunctioning tanks, and tanks which may have hazardous environments. This data can be used to better plan service provision. MoniTrd also aims to leverage the sensor network created by this device to generate inferential analytics about public health and ground water characteristics to create additional value and reduce direct costs for the household. We also aim to employ mesh networks to ensure that even if one device in a neighborhood is within range of a connection to the servers, all nearby devices will be able to push their data through the mesh.

We from Lockeur want to provide students at the EUR with lockers to store their bags, laptops and other belongings. We aim to create lockers made from sustainable materials. Certain lockers will contain chargingports for smarthphones, laptop and other electronical devices. These will be run on green energy Students can rent a locker for an affordable price with a time limit of 24 hours. The lockers that have a charge station included will cost more expensive to hire.

Neota

With Neota, we are enabling manufacturing companies to become circular. In the beginning, we will focus on textile waste and create new HR/Marketing products out of the waste (e.g. turning old security clothing into HR/Marketing goodie bags). For example security clothing with reflective elements have a relatively short lifecycle, because they have to be discharged after a couple of washing cycles. They cannot be recycle because of the composition of fabrics and the way the fabrics are connected. Instead of buring them, we create unique marketing goodies out them, enabling companies to move toward circualrity.

A mathematical model which simulates an office's hybrid work, and creates an efficient, customized hybrid work schedule. These schedules can help offices achieve a variety of goals, depending on what they prioritize. These include encouraging collaboration within and between teams, maximizing time spent in office, onboarding and integrating teams, abiding by employee preferences, or a combination thereof. Additionally, a model like this allows companies to experiment virtually, and better understand the effects that various office policies (such as increasing or decreasing office space) have on hybrid work. Driver Sharing

Providing driver-sharing hubs in the middle of some corridors. In these hubs, at the beginning of their rest shift, drivers hand over their trucks to drivers who already have finished their rest shift (or freelancer drivers who attend in the hub to take the trucks). A software platform will provide information about drivers, routes, and trucks to the carrier companies who are participating in this program. With this solution, trucks will not stop at night time which leads to more efficiency, more driving in less crowded hours, and faster delivery. Moreover, drivers have a nice place to rest.
