The challenge

Wine bottles are hard to reclyce, so upcycling is very important. For example: most of the time we receive money if we recycle beer bottles. Therefore it's very accessible to recycle this kind of glass. For wine bottles there is no such thing, so we just throw them away. By upcycling them and making candles of them we reduce glass waste.

The solution

Clara & Lucy sells the bottom part of the wine bottle as a candle.

Mission

Our main mission is providing financial independence for victims of domestic violence. They don't have the financial possibilities to leave this relation. By making candles of the wine bottles they will have an income which makes them more financial independent.
