The challenge

The current mental health care system cannot meet the demand for people in need for psychological help. This is partly due to an overly bureaucratic centralised system as well as due to the fact that there is a lack of access to mental health due to a reliance on location, government environment and financial situation. Additionally there is social stigma and a lack of trust in the current mental healthcare system.

The solution

Nuros provides a fully decentralised system in which the demand is increased by training experts by experience for primary care and improving the match between psychologist and client beforehand based on our matching system. Moreover, we believe in transparency on the quality of our care and therefore are using rating systems that give clarity to psychologists and clients a like. These ratings will also be used to offer educational courses to help improve the quality of care. Lastly, by digitalising mental health care, global access increases as well as the anonymity that prevents people from getting help due to social stigma.
